一、

為扶助本校在學之境外生(外國學生、僑生、港澳生、陸生)，因生活經濟上困難、家庭突遭變故、或發生意外事件等其他重大事件，須緊急救助者，特訂定「中國醫藥大學境外生清寒急難救助金」(以下簡稱本救助金)。
To help CMU overseas students (International students, Overseas Chinese students, Hong Kong & Macau students, or Mainland Chinese students) that need emergency assistance due to financial difficulties, a family emergency, accidents or other major events, CMU has stipulated the China Medical University Emergency Relief Subsidy for Overseas Students (hereinafter referred to as the “Subsidy”).

二、

申請資格，符合下列要件之一者：
Qualifications. Student who encounter one of the following conditions:

(一)家庭突遭重大變故。
Family emergency.

(二)父或母因長期生病無法工作者。
Parents unable to work due to long-term illness.

(三)父或母失業及學生本人無力負擔生活費。
Parents are unemployed, and the student cannot afford living expenses.

(四)家境清寒，生活堪虞者。
Students in straitened circumstances.

(五)因重大不可預期事件導致家人失業或本人無法工讀導致生活困難者。
Students with difficulties due to unexpected events that cause unemployment in family members, or students themselves, are unable to do part-time work.

三、

補助經費來源：
Subsidy Source:

(一)指定捐款基金：依據捐款人之指定用途，審查委員於會議審議後，核給符合資格身分之境外學生。
Designated Donation Fund: Based on the designated purpose of the donor, the review committee will review and approve the subsidy to the eligible student.

(二)非指定捐款基金：依學生所提交之文件、實際情形，經由審查委員於會議時審議。
Non-Designated Donation Fund: Based on the documents submitted by the applicant and the actual situation, the subsidy will be reviewed by the review committee.

金額：
Amount:

符合資格之申請者每人每學期限申請一次，每次新台幣伍仟至壹萬元不等，直至經費用罄為止，每年依據由各界人士捐款之預算，如有特殊情況，由審查委員於會議時核定核發金額。
Students can apply once per semester to receive a subsidy of between NT$5,000 and NT$10,000 (until the funds are exhausted). The subsidy amount is based on the donations received each year. If there are special circumstances, the review committee will determine the amount to be issued at the meeting.

五、

應繳文件：
Documents for Application:

(一)自述說明
A personal statement that explains the incident.

(二)推薦信(導師、系所辦師長、或相關機構推薦)
Recommendation letter (from supervisor, department professor, or relevant institution).

(三)急難事件證明或相關佐證資料
Emergency certificate or relevant supporting documents.

六、

審查作業：
Review Procedure:

(一)由國際長、副國際長、國際學生中心主任、相關境外生(外國學生、僑生、港澳生、陸生)承辦人成立「中國醫藥大學境外生急難救助金審查小組」。
The “Review Committee of the Emergency Relief Subsidy” consists of the Dean of Global Affairs, Associate Dean of Global Affairs, Director of the International Student Center, and staff in charge of international student affairs (International students, Overseas Chinese students, Hong Kong & Macau students, and Mainland Chinese students).

(二)學生依本救助金各項條款規定，提交所需文件供審查小組審核。
Applicants shall submit the required documents for review in accordance with the terms and conditions of these Guidelines.

七、

本細則經國際事務處處務會議通過，陳校長核准後實施，修正時亦同。
These guidelines are subject to review and amendment by the Meeting of Office of Global Affairs, approved and announced by the President of China Medical University. Further modification of these Guidelines follow the same process.
